After spending the last 8 years being a freelance staff writer for a few resume writing houses, I realized that what they were charging their clients was simply getting out of hand. Rates were anywhere from $200-500 for a resume package that came with a resume, cover letter and follow up letter all from a template. Who really wants to pay that much money for a resume that is a cookie cutter image of the next guy and the gal before them?

So why do I only charge $50? The answer may surprise you. I like to stay busy. I also enjoy working with people and assisting them on their hunt for a new job. My resume format has been proven and with hundreds of happy clients, the success really does speak for itself. The fact of the matter here is that yes, I hold several degree qualifications, but I have learned more in the field and art of resume writing by being hands-on and really working with people and focusing on their needs individually than I learned in my whole graduate education.
